Arsenal Players are being Supported by Arteta in the FA Probe

Mikel Arteta claims he “100%” supports his Arsenal teammates’ account of the on-field altercation that occurred late in Sunday’s victory against Liverpool and led to an FA inquiry.

Gunners center back In a brawl involving several players from both sides, Gabriel and Reds captain Jordan Henderson were in the center. As a result, referee Michael Oliver temporarily stopped the game to talk with Arteta and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on the sidelines. Oliver continued to observe the players after the game had ended.

The event, which happened at the Emirates during stoppage time, has not been made public, and the FA’s investigation is still underway.

When asked which players the authorities had talked to, Arteta declined to answer, stating: “It’s something I don’t want to touch. I won’t get engaged with that since the FA is handling it.

However, he said, “100%,” when asked if he agreed with his players’ account of what happened.

Arteta was addressing the media prior to Thursday night’s Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt, which will be played on a synthetic field.

It would not be feasible to use a grass field in Bodo, which is located inside the Arctic Circle, throughout the winter. However, Jose Mourinho was highly critical of the playing surface when his Roma team faced Glimt in the Europa Conference League last season, and there have been worries about a potential rise in injury risks.

But Arteta wouldn’t offer justifications in advance.

He stated, “What we are considering is how we will win the game. “How we triumph once every three days. In various settings, circumstances, climes, climatic conditions, and contests. We are merely approaching the game in that manner.

“A player may get an injury when practicing on an artificial field. We have done everything we can to protect the players as much as we can, but tomorrow we will undoubtedly have 11 players on the field.
